Cowspiracy: The Environmental Footprint of Farming

On Thursday 22 January, Net Impact Bristol is hosting a screening of the film “Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret”, a documentary about the environmental footprint of farming and food.

Following the film, Dr Stephen Allen of Circular Ecology will sit on a panel to discuss the film with the audience, and the practical ways in which attendees can reduce the carbon and water footprint of their food.

Cowspiracy is an American documentary asking challenging questions to environmental charities about world farming practices and carbon; discussions that they don’t feel comfortable campaigning on.

Net Impact is an initiative that started in California in the early ‘90s and has now grown to become the single leading global non-profit that empowers a new generation to create positive social and environmental change in the workplace.

The Bristol Net Impact Professional Chapter helps professionals and students incorporate sustainability into their career paths across various sectors. Through developing a connected, motivated workforce Net Impact aids the development of the Bristol environmental sector itself. Click here to find out more about Net Impact Bristol.
